Rockstar still has not announced PC requirements
Grand Theft Auto VI is confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November 2026. PC is absent from Rockstar’s platform list. Without a PC version, there can be no official minimum or recommended specification.
Requirements tables naming exact processors or graphics cards are predictions. Some are reasonable guesses dressed in official-looking formatting. Others copy the requirements of unrelated games. None can certify a computer for GTA VI.

What current hardware can tell us
The console versions give us broad context, not a PC parts list. Consoles have fixed memory, storage and graphics targets. A PC port can arrive with different settings, operating-system overhead, shader compilation and CPU demands.
GTA V Enhanced is a more useful clue to Rockstar’s current PC direction than the original 2015 port. Its official specification calls for an SSD at minimum and a DirectStorage-compatible drive in the recommended tier. GTA VI is a different game, so this remains precedent rather than proof.

A planning baseline, not a leaked specification
For a gaming PC bought in 2026, 16 GB of dual-channel memory and an SSD are ordinary basics. Thirty-two gigabytes gives more room for background apps and future games. A balanced modern CPU and GPU matter more than chasing a model number from a speculative list.
These points describe a sensible current gaming PC. They promise no GTA VI resolution, preset or frame rate. The future port could be lighter or substantially heavier than today’s estimates.

Should you build a PC for GTA 6 now?
Wait if GTA VI is the only reason for the purchase. Hardware prices move, new parts arrive and Rockstar may choose targets nobody outside the studio has seen.
