01
The confirmed release offer
Pre-orders began at midnight local time on June 25, 2026. Rockstar announced Standard and Ultimate editions, with the Vintage Vice City Pack included with eligible pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026.
02
Pre-load and physical format
Digital pre-loading begins November 12 at local midnight. The announced physical package contains a download code rather than a disc and becomes available on the same date to support pre-loading.
03
Standard and Ultimate pricing
Take-Two’s announcement lists the Standard Edition at US$79.99 and the digital Ultimate Edition at US$99.99. Regional prices, taxes and retailer availability can differ, so GTAFinder treats those figures as the announced US prices rather than universal conversions.
- Standard Edition: the base game.
- Ultimate Edition: the base game plus the announced vehicle, weapon, apparel, business and story-linked upgrade collection.
- Eligible digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+.
04
What the Vintage Vice City Pack includes
The pre-order pack is a time-limited purchase incentive rather than a separate edition. Rockstar associates it with eligible pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026. Its named content is tracked separately so that the bonus is not confused with the larger Ultimate Edition upgrade collection.
05
Before choosing a format
The boxed Standard package contains a download code, not a playable disc. Buyers still need sufficient storage and an internet connection to download the game. Rockstar’s current guidance also notes regional restrictions for PlayStation codes, so the package region should match the player’s PlayStation account region.

Details still not confirmed
Rockstar has not published the final download size, installation footprint, launch-day update size or PC purchase options. GTAFinder does not convert retailer estimates or placeholder specifications into official buying guidance.
