The official launch trailer
Rockstar published the 90-second Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026. The embedded video is from Rockstar’s verified YouTube channel; the official Rockstar page is linked below.
The trailer accompanies the existing November 19, 2026 launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It does not announce a PC date or change the platform list.
Story observations
Jason and Lucia remain at the center
Jason speaks about trouble during his Army service and difficulty obtaining a loan. A phone message names Lucia Caminos, while later scenes show the pair driving, spending time together and facing danger. These are moments shown or heard in the trailer, not a complete story synopsis.
The closing exchange returns to whether the pair will make it through their situation. Rockstar’s published premise still describes an easy score gone wrong and a criminal conspiracy across Leonida; the trailer does not provide a mission list or explain the full sequence of events.
Music credit
“Flower in a Hurricane” and the score
Rockstar identifies “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard as the new song in the launch trailer. Rockstar also names Justice as composers of GTA VI’s original score.
The official Newswire and music page list the single on the 34-track Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. That confirms its trailer use and album inclusion, but Rockstar has not assigned it to a named in-game radio station.

What the footage establishes
The scene index below records moments checked directly against Rockstar’s video. A visible setting, action or performer does not by itself prove a playable mechanic, a new named location or a new character profile.
Rockstar has not attached new People & Places biographies or a complete map to this publication. Names already supported by official profiles remain linked to those profiles; unidentified people and places stay unidentified.
