How the release plan changed
Trailer 1 introduced a broad 2025 window in December 2023. Rockstar later moved the game to 26 May 2026, saying it needed more development time. The November 2025 update then set the current date.
A year-long window is not the same as a dated product available for pre-order. Keeping those milestones separate makes the history clearer.
